750gms sugar
1 litre milk
250gms butter
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
250gms cashewnuts (gorund fine)

Directions:
Directions:
Place milk on fire, boil till it is reduced to half, stir in sugar. Cook on slow fire. Add ground nuts, vanilla, salt and butter. Let mixure boil, stirring constantly. When the mixture begins to leave the sides and tends to form a hard ball, which rings when thrown in a saucer of cold water, it is ready. Remove from the fire. Quickly pour in a greased thali. Make marking diamonds or quare shapes. When completely cold cut and separate the pieces.
