1 c. oatmeal
1 c. boiling water
1 stick margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped dates
Directions:
Directions:
Add boiling water to oatmeal and let cool. Then add all of the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9x13" pan and bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Top cooled cake with a basic powdered sugar glaze.
