1 1/2 qts fully ripe berries
juice of 1 lemon
6c sugar
1 1/2c water
1 box certo

Directions:
Directions:
Crush berries, add water. Place in jelly bag; squeeze out enough juice to make 4 1/2 cups; to this add lemon juice and sugar. Place over high heat add certo crystals. Stir until mixture comes to a hard boil. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and skim.

From Pauline's recipe box. I remember picking saskatoons with Dad and Dad's Uncle Bill when we stayed with him in Saskatchewan. Mom made a pie with the berries; I was only 4 or 5 at the time.
