3/4 c. milk, scalded, 1/3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk,sugar,shortening, and salt together. Add 1/2 c. cold water and 1 egg, 1 envelopeyeast or 1 yeast cake dissolved in 1/2 cup luke warm water, 4 c. flour. Add half the flour to above mixture then beat withelectric mixer for a few minutes,add rest of flour mixture by hand. Put in refrigerator for a few hrs. or over night. Take out and put in biscuit pan or muffin pan. Let rise and bake@ 350º until golden brown.
