Crust: 3/4c Flour
1/2 c Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
1/4 c Butter or Marg. Softened
1/2 c Chopped Pecans
Filling: 25 Chewy Caramels
2 Tbsp Butter or Marg.
2 Tbsp Heavy Cream
2 Tbsp Corn Syrup
1/2 c Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Line an 8x8 pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Let foil overhang a little. Blend flour, brown sugar and corn starch in a large bowl. Cut in butter with 2 forks or pastry blender till crumbly. Stir in pecans. Press into pan. Bake 11-13 min @ 350 till lightly browned. Remove from oven.
Heat unwrapped caramels, butter, cream, and corn syrup in large microwave-safe bowl for 1-2 min stirring often till smooth. Carefully spread over baked crust and bake another 11-13 min till caramel is just starting to bubble. Remove to wire rack and sprinkle with chips. Let stand for 5 min till chips melt then carefully spread chocolate over the caramel using back of a spoon for a swirl effect leaving portions of the caramel exposed. Refrigerate for 2hrs or till chocolate is set. Remove from pan by lifting opposite ends of the foil, place on board and peel foil, then cut.
