1 1/2 lb round steak
1 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup rice
2 cups water
1 tbsp soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat in serving size pieces. Season with salt and lightly coat with flour. Brown in small amount of oil in skillet. Push meat to side of pan and add onion, celery and soy sauce; cook until vegetables brown. Combine with soups, rice and water and put in casserole dish. Bake at 350º for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I would fix this dish often on Sundays when Dad and I were watching the Bears games. I'd cut, season & flour the meat beforehand and put it in the fridge. During half time I'd finish up the dish and put it in the oven. When the game was over dinner would be ready. Delicious with a nice red wine.
