2 tablespoons cornstarch
Dash of salt
1 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel

Directions:
In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Stir in water until well blended. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils and is slightly thickened and clear. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, butter, and lemon peel.
