1 and 1/4 cup blanched almonds
1 cup powdered sugar

3/4 cup butter
3 Tablespoons grated orange peel

1 large egg
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 and 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
1 and 1/4 cup blanched almonds
1 cup powdered sugar

Add:
3/4 cup butter
3 Tablespoons grated orange peel

Beat until fluffy and add to sugar mixture.
Add:
1 large egg
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 and 1/2 cups flour

Roll into 1 and 1/2 inch parchment cylinders and chill for at least 3 hours.

Roll cookie dough in 1 cup finely chopped candied ginger.
Slice into 1/4 inch rounds and bake at 350 for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Uncooked dough freezes very well.
