Tomato Sauce
1 onion chopped
1 minced clove garlic
1/4c oil
28 oz can tomatoes
1 small tin tomato paste
1 Bay leaf
1/4c water
1lb lean ground beef
salt & pepper
Cheese Sauce
1 small onion
4 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
3/4c grated cheddar cheese
2c milk
2 egg yolks beaten
1lb egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Tomato Sauce
Saute onion in oil until soft. Add garlic and saute 30 sec's more. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, bay leaf and water and stir to mix. Add hamburg and cook 1 hr.
Cheese sauce
Cook onion in butter until soft. Mix in flour until smooth and slowly stir in milk. Bring to boil to thicken. Slowly add egg yolks and cheese. Cook 10 min's
Boil noodles and put layer in casserole. Add layer of tomato sauce and layer of cheese. Repeat ending with cheese. Bake covered 30 min's at 350º
