1 29-ounce can sliced peaches
2/3 to 1 cup sugar
2 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tbsp cinnamon  

For topping:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp shortening
1/2 cup milk


Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400ºF
Drain fruit and reserve liquid
Mix sugar and corn starch in sauce pan
Stir in fruit juice gradually, bring to boil
Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly
Add fruit, pour into 1 1/2 quart or (9"x13") baking dish

For topping:
Mix flour and sugar, cut shortening; add milk
Stir until ingredients are blended
Spoon dough onto fruit
Bake 25-30 minutes and serve warm.
Dot with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon
