1 - 9" pie crust
1 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup light brown sugar
4 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
2 Tbsp. bourbon or 1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. grated orange zest
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
2 cup pecan halves

Directions:

Set an oven rack in the lowest position and heat oven to 350*
Place the pie plate on a foil-lined baking sheet.
In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, sugar, butter, eggs, bourbon, orange zest, and salt.
Stir in the pecans.
Pour the mixture into the crust and bake until the center is set, 50 to 55 minutes.
Let cool to room temp. before serving.
