1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. fresh or frozen chopped peaches
2/3 c. sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, sour cream, and flavorings; mix well.
Combine flour and baking powder; stir into creamed mixture just until moistened.
Fold in peaches and almonds.
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake 400°F 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove from pan to a wire rack.
Optional: can use 1 cup pecans instead of almonds and 1 tsp. vanilla, not using almond flavor.
Optional: can put on crumb topping before baking:
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tb. Melted butter
