One ten inch unbaked pie shell
1 cup grated Swiss cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
1 package frozen broccoli florets, thawed
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups half and half
1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Spread Swiss cheese on bottom of pie shell. Arrange chopped onion next. Arrange broccoli on top of onion. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese next.
Beat eggs, half and half, and seasonings until foamy. Pour over cheeses and broccoli. Bake at 350º for approximately one hour until pie is set. Serve warm.

This recipe came from Shonna Lindsey the Home Economics teacher at Piner Middle School where I was the principal for nine years. She used it in her labs with the students and always shared it with the faculty.
