4 bananas

French Vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sugar and cinnamon and stir until the sugar is melted and syrup forms. Add the banana liquor. Slice 4 bananas in half long way and then into thirds. Add to the syrup and cook until al Dante turning to get syrup on all sides. Add the walnuts and coat with syrup. Either heat the rum in a small sauce pan on another burner until just warm, or add the rum to the dish to warm. When warm light the pan. Stand back from the flame. Continue shaking the pan to keep the flame going for effect. When the flame dies down the dish is ready. Serve in a fancy bowl or saucer. Scoop a large scoop of French vanilla ice cream into 4 dishes. Ladle the banana and walnuts over the ice cream and serve immediately.

Personal Notes:
Can use other flavors of ice cream. I like chocolate. This is definitely a company dessert. Prepare near the table and warm the rum separately and pour over each dessert for added effect if you prefer. Just be careful. It flames quickly.
