1 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup butter softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 cups old-fashioned Quaker oats
1 (11 oz.) packages chocolate chips or butterscotch flavored morels (about 2 cups)

Preheat oven to 375º
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl; set aside
Beat butter granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in a large bowl
Gradually beat in flour mixture
Stir in oats and morsels
Drop by rounded Tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet
Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies, 9 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies
Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, remove to wire racks to cool completely
