Ingredients: 3/4 cup butter flavor Crisco 1 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 2 table spoons of milk 1 table spoon of vanilla 1 egg 1 3/4 cup of all purpose flour 1 tsp salt 3/4 tsp baking soda 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup pecan pieces 2 glasses of wine or 3 cold beers, DO NOT MIX.

Directions:Heat oven at 375. Combine crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Beat egg into creamed mixture. Combine flour, salt and baking soda and mix into creamed mixture until just blended. Stir in Chocolate chips and pecan pieces. Now place in icebox for 5 hours or after drinking 2 glasses of wine and 3 cold beers. You can skip the last part and go ahead and make cookies. Drop rounded tablespoons full (about 2 measuring table spoons of dough) 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies (cookies will appear moist - DO NOT OVER BAKE.) or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then remove to cooling rack. |
