Medium-sized cucumbers
3 cups vinegar (white)
3 cups water
6 Tbsp. salt (pickling)
Fresh dill
Garlic (optional)
Mustard Seed

Directions:
Wash cucumbers, drain and slice thin. Make brine of vinegar, water and salt. Bring to a boil. Place a generous layer of dill, 1/2 to 1 clove garlic (sliced) and 1/2 tsp. of mustard seed in bottom of each clean jar. Pack cucumbers into each hot jar. When jars are half filled with cucumbers add another layer of dill and complete packing jars. Fill jars to within 1/2" of top with boiling brine. Seal each jar as soon as filled by placing scalded lid on each jar and screwing band tight.
