Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. lard
1/2 cup warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Put flour in large mixing bowl; sprinkle in salt and baking powder. Mix well. Add lard and blend with fingers until particles are fine. Add warm water gradually. Mix until dough can be kneaded together. Knead thoroughly until smooth. Let rest 10 to 15 minutes.

Divide dough in 8 or 12 medium balls. Now roll balls about 1-16th inch thick on lightly floured board. Place tortillas on hot, ungreased griddle one at a time. Bake until freckled on one side. This takes only a second. Lift edge with spatula, turn, and bake on the other side. Wrap in a tea towel to keep warm.
