Directions:
Sift first 6 ingredients into a large bowl. Add egg, milk and oil. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer. Stir in boiling water until smooth. Pour into prepared (greased and dusted with flour) 9" round cake pan. Bake at 350ºF for 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bite-size pieces. Make this ahead and freeze if you like.

Prepare mousse according to package. Beat cream, Whip It and vanilla sugar to make stiff peaks.

Assembly: Put half of the cake cubes in a trifle bowl. Be sure to focus on the perimeter of the bowl so the layers will be defined. Spread half the mousse, then half the cream on top. Sprinkle half the chocolate bars over the cream. Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients. cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 4 hours (best if overnight). Enjoy!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Use these ingredients to make a basic chocolate cake or use a baking mix such as Duncan Hines©.

I've had this recipe from Robin Hood Flour© for years and it's still a favourite request! If you like chocolate and whipping cream, this is for you!

Note: A pedestal glass bowl is essential to get all the ooh's and ah's from your guests.
