2 egg whites
dash of salt
¼ t cream of tartar
¾ c light karo syrup
¼ c sugar
1-2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, combine egg whites, salt and cram of tartar and beat until frothy. In pitcher or bowl, mix the karo syrup and sugar and microwave 1 ½-2 minutes. Sugar should be dissolved. Pour this over egg whites and beat until stiff enough to spread. This could take 20 minutes. Add the vanilla while beating. You could add almond flavor also.
