2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups day-old bread, cut into 1" cubes
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first five ingredients. Stir in bread cubes. Stir in brown sugar and raisins. Pour mixture into an 8" round cake pan or baking dish.

Place pan in a large pan deep enough to have water poured into the larger pan to the depth of 1".
Put the pans in the oven first and then pour in hot water.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted midway between the center and the edge.
