3 potatoes, diced
2 lbs. beef chuck or stew in 1 1/2" cubes
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic
1 bay leaf
salt to taste
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika
3 onions, quartered
1 stalk celery with tops, cut up
2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet (liquid flavoring)

Put all ingredients in cooker. Stir to mix well. Cover & cook on low 10 to 12 hours (High 4 to 5 hours).

Hint: place vegetables on the bottom where they will be kept moist, meat on top. Vegetables actually take longer to cook than meat in a slow cooker.
