2/3 cup shortening
2 2/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 lb can of pumpkin
2/3 cup water
3 1/3 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees

Mix flour, soda, baking powder and cinnamon together in a large bowl.

On medium speed for 2 minutes mix shortening, eggs, sugar, pumpkin and water together until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture. Add nuts if desired.

Fill muffin pans 2/3 full of pumpkin mixture. Bake for approximately 20 minutes
