2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp water
2 eggs
1 package chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine in medium bowl, baking soda, salt and flour. Set aside.

With and electric mixer on medium speed, mix shortening, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, water and eggs together and mix until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until smooth. Add chocolate chips and sir by hand.

Drop by rounded tsp full onto greased baking sheet and bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let set 2 minutes on baking sheet then remove to wire rack to cool.
