Baked Apples with Greek Yogurt Recipe

6 to 8 medium baking apples (such as McIntosh,Rome Beauty,or Granny Smith)
1 cup orange juice
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup packed browned sugar
1/3 cup slivered almonds,toasted
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/3 cup butter,melted
Cinnamon sticks,broken (optional)
1 6 to 7-ounce carton Greek yogurt or other creamy-style yogurt

1.Preheat oven to 350ºF. Remove a 1/2-inch slice from the top of each apple.Using a melon baller,remove each core,stopping about 1/2-inch from bottom of apple.Arange apples in an ungreased 3-quart rectangular baking dish.(If necessary,remove a this slice from bottom of each apple so it sits flat.) Brush with 1 tablespoon of the orange juice.

2.In a medium bowl.combine oats,brown sugar,almonds,flour,ground cinnamon,and nutmeg.Stir in butter.Fill and top apples with oat mixture. Pour remaining orange juice around apples.

3.Cover dish with foil.Bake for 50. If desired, place a piece of cinnamon stick in oat mixture in each apple to resemble a stem. Bake, uncovered,for 10 to 15 minutes more or until apples are tender.Cool slightly.Drizzle apples with honey.Serve with Yogurt.
