Ingredients:  
¼ lb salt pork (sometimes use bacon fat)
1 lb hamburg
3 carrots
½ cup diced celery
1 chopped onion
2 cups cooked tomatoes and juice
2 tsp salt
¼ cup of rice
2 cups cubed potatoes
1 ½ quarts of water
2 beef bouillon cubes
Seasonings to taste

Fry pork. Brown hamburger. Add veggies, rice, hamburger and salt pork to water. Simmer 1 hour. Add potatoes and simmer 2 hours. Sometimes I par boil the potatoes to speed up the cooking process. A crock pot works great.
