1 egg, slightly beaten
2 cans tuna, drained
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. cheddar cheese grated
1/2 c. snipped parsley
1 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Biscuit dough (recipe below)
Cheese sauce (recipe below)

Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Reserve 2 Tbsp. of egg; set aside. Mix remaining egg, the tuna, onion, cheese, parsley, celery salt & pepper. Prepare biscuit dough; roll dough into rectangle 15 x 10". Spread with tuna mixture. Roll up, beginning at wide side. Place seam side down in ring on greased baking sheet. Pinch ends together. With scissors, make cuts 2/3 of the way through ring at 1" intervals. Brush with reserved egg. Bake 25-30 min. Serve with hot cheese sauce.
BISCUIT DOUGH
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening.
Measure flour, baking powder & salt into a bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture looks like meal. Stir in almost all of the milk, if dough is not pliable, add just enough milk to make a soft puffy, easy-to-roll dough. Round up dough on lightly floured cloth-covered board. Knead lightly 20 to 25 times about 1/2 min.
CHEESE SAUCE: 1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper,
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. grated cheese.
Melt butter, add flour & salt until bubbly, add milk to boil.
