1 12-oz. pkg. cranberries
4 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 apples, diced (I like Granny Smith, something tart)
¾ c. seedless grapes, green or red
¾ c. broken walnuts
dash salt
1 ½ c. Cool Whip

The night before, chop cranberries in food processor or blender. Combine with marshmallows and sugar and let sit overnight. Add remaining ingredients, folding in the Cool Whip at the end.
