2 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
pinch ground cloves
4 large eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla 1 cup vegetable oil
3 cups shredded carrot
3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Icing
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp grated orange zest
3 cups confectioner sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Spray 2, 9 inch round pans lightly.

Mix all dry ingredients, except sugar. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add oil and dry mix alternately, to egg mix. Pour into 2 pans. Bake 40-45 minutes.
Cool cakes completely before frosting.

Icing, on low speed, softened cream cheese, orange zest, vanilla and melted butter, add confectioner sugar slowly until incorporated.
