8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 to 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In the bowl of your electric mixer, cream the butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Mix in the vanilla, then add the powered sugar gradually until you get the desired consistency.
