8 or 9 qts. air-popped corn
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c.white syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil all ingredients except corn & soda for 5 min. mixing and stirring. Remove from heat & add soda. Stir in quickly. Pour over corn. Pour into large roasting pan. Bake in 250º oven for 1 hour. Stir 2 or 3 times. Store in tightly closed container.

This is the best ever!!! Non-sticky, delectable. Add nuts if you'd like a cracker-jack feel. Kay Kahnberg shared this recipe with me in the early 1970's.
