1 lb ground pork sausage
1 lb bacon
4 cups milk
8 eggs
16 oz. frozen hashbrowns thawed and drained well
6 slices white bread, crust removed
2 tbs butter
1 med onion
2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar,american, etc. - whatever you like will work)

Directions:

Place sausage and bacon in two deep skillets. Cook over med-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
Brown hash browns in skillet until golden brown.
Transfer hash browns to 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
In large bown stir together cooked sausage and bacon with onion and cheese. Place half this mixture on top of the hash browns. Butter one side of the 6 slices of brerad and place them butter side up on top of the mixture. Add remaining meat/cheese mixture. Beat together milk and eggs and pour over top of casserole. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Next morning preheat over to 425º.
Bake covered in oven for 45 - 60 minutes
