12 eggs, large,
2 1/2 lbs flour = 10 cups or 1/2 bag,
1/2 lb Crisco = 1 cup, (Do Not Use Butter)
2 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder,
2 tsp Vanilla, Almond, Orange, or other flavor extract,
3 Cups Sugar,

Directions:

Beat eggs and add Crisco, Sugar, Baking Powder and mix well.
Add flour (if dough is too soft add more flour and baking powder making sure that the dough is not sticky or too dry or hard
Press through cookie press or shape by hand. You can also roll out and cut with cookie cutters.

Bake on cookie sheet @ 350 degrees until golden brown.

These cookies are supposed to be HARD so that you can dunk them in hot coffee or even break them up in your coffee and eat them with a spoon in he traditional Italian way. If they are soft, you need to reduce the amount of eggs or Crisco.
