6 c. All-bran cereal
2 c. boiling water
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. shortening
1 qt. buttermilk
2 ½ c. sugar
5 c. flour
5 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over cereal in very large bowl. Mix and let soften.

Cream sugar and shortening, can use mixer or mix by hand in second large bowl . Add eggs and buttermilk. Add egg mixture to cereal and mix well. Mix dry ingredients and fold into cereal.

Store in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.

For regular muffins, bake at 400º for 15-20 minutes.
