1 cube butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
3 cups flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 T. Anise seed
1 1/2 c. walnuts
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a mixer. Form dough into rolls. About two inches wide. Bake 20 min. at 350º. Watch closely and remove from oven and cut crosswise. Return to oven and bake on both sides until golden brown. (10 min. each side.)
