2 ½ c uncooked macaroni, cook until tender
1 lb hamburger
1 clove garlic
1 medium onion, browned
1 ½ t salt
1 t sugar
½ t oregano
½ t basil
1 ½ t chili powder
Dash of pepper
1 qt tomatoes
1-6oz can tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all but macaroni with hamburger and simmer together. Combine cooked macaroni with 2 cups creamed cottage cheese. Grate ½ lb sharp American processed cheese. Alternate layers of hamburger mixture, macaroni mixture, and cheese mixture in a casserole. Top with: melt 2 T butter, and ½ c dry bread crumbs and ¼ c grated Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hour. Let stand about 10 minutes before eating.
