1 lb ground chuck
1 T shortening
2 t salt
1 medium onion (minced or reconstiuted dry)
1 T yellow mustard
1 T vinegar
1 T sugar
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening in a CAST IRON pan. Sprinkle on salt. Put in meat, break up and add onion. Keep browning. Drain off fat, add rest of ingredients. Add enough water to cover meat. Cook on simmer until water is cooked out (approx 20-30 minutes) stirring occassionally. Serve on hamburger buns with dill chips, American cheese and more mustard if you like. Serve with potato chips
