Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Taken from a hand-written recipe of my mother's in the RUPERT"S Treasure of Personal Recipes. Printed in 1952 for the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church in Rupert, Idaho, where my mother Mildred (Winter) Wilkinson was a member.
I remember these cookies being a favorite of my dads and my oldest sister Donna. They aren't the prettiest cookie you ever saw but they sure are good.
