4 c flour
1 t baking powder
1 c crisco
1 t salt
1/2 t nutmeg
1 t soda
1/4 c sour milk
1 egg beaten
1 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into flour like for a pie crust, add sugar raisins, salt and baking powder. Mix well and make a hole in the center put in soda, egg and milk and mix well. Roll thin like a pie crust and cut out with biscuit cutter.
Sprinkle with sugar and bake @ 350º until browned
