1 cup syrup (white,dark,karo syrup)
3 to 31/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter,sugar,blend vanilla, and egg, the syrup,Add flour,salt,soda,baking powder. Blend together, turn out on board kneel with flour to firm.pinch off like biscuits and place on greased cookie sheet.Bake until lightly brown. less time to make a soft tea cake,
