Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter
About 1 c. ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Add salt to flour and mix. Cut butter into flour with pastry blender until flour and butter form chunks roughly walnut-sized. Put water in a bowl with ice cubes. Working quickly, pour small amounts of ice water into the center of the flour mixture and, with a fork, form part of the mixture into a soft ball large enough to roll out to fit a pie pan. You will only wet about 1/4 of the flour mixture for the first crust. The secret to this pie crust is to keep it cold and not work with it until it gets firm - the softer it is, the better, while still holding its shape. Use lots of flour on the bread board and rolling pin while rolling it out. Only mix enough water into the flour mixture to do one crust at a time. Once you get the bottom crust in the pan, you can start mixing the top crust for a two crust pie. Put the filling in the pan and put on the top crust, before starting the second pie crust.
