2 slices cooked bacon, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
3 c. chicken broth
2 c. light cream
4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. parsley flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon over medium heat until crisp, set aside. Remove some fat and add the onions, sauté until golden.

Stir in flour and cook 2 minutes.

Stir in stock and cream. Bring to a boil.

Add diced potatoes and simmer covered until tender.

Stir in cheddar cheese, bacon, Worcestershire sauce.
Add salt, pepper and parsley flakes.

Makes 8 cups.
Serve hot.
