Just as the boy tradition was looking rather bleak.
Bobo was born one October day
Not long after came Rocco Ray
Well, Casey and Connie joined the game.
Their birth order was exactly the same.
Girl then boy right on cue.
Caroline first then Charlie too.
The big question was who would be next.
Then Casey and Connie answered with a text.
But not long after this news of their third.
Came a glorious, awesome, and unexpected word.
Corey and Lindsay with one on the way
Having a due date the 1st week in May.
The Chinese calendar was right again.
The only question left: is it Cash, Huck, or Finn?
We all voted to help them decide.
Then, Knox won in a big landslide.
Our vote didn't win, don't complain.
They still gave props to ole Mark Twain.
Maybe one day the kid will be a lawyer.
Because no other word rhymes with Sawyer.
Baby brother Corey living the dream.

Well, Casey and Connie don't want to know.
One of each, the excitement will grow.
But that's not true, they have a little secret.
They can't lie anymore they just can't keep it.
Caroline says Tidbit will be a sister.

We're having a boy, and Darla says no doubt.

Cause once Andy finds out everyone knows.
We had trouble. What would his name be?
Remember one stipulation it must start with a C.
Clay, Carter, Collin made a few cuts.
Then came some really big Buts.
Carter reminds us of Jimmy, Clay is just dirt.
Collinoscopy name calling and feelings are hurt.
So in the end, we went with something new.
It just so happens to start with C too.

Cal James will be our next man.

Notes: Casey read this poem he wrote at our Family Christmas Eve Get-Together to reveal him and Connie were having a baby boy, Cal James. Such exciting news. Spring 2012 we will have 2 more grandsons. Cal and Sawyer are due a week apart.
Update: Who will be next was asked above in the Baxter Story - Well Corey & Lindsay are expecting our 9th grandchild March 27, 2014. No Family Spring Break Beach Trip in 2014, but welcoming our new granddaughter Drew Theron will be well worth missing it. Excited! After Drew's arrival: 4 granddaughters & 5 grandsons. Feeling so Blessed!
