4 8 oz filet
6 tbsp soft butter
pepper
2 tsp fresh parsley

Directions:
Preheat broiler. Prepare filets by drying with paper towel and rub 1/2 tbsp butter per steak over top and bottom. Salt and pepper filet. Make sure broiler is on high. Preheat for 30 minutes. Put 4 oven safe plates on bottom rack in oven when you preheat broiler. Place rack so filets will be 5-6 inches from heat. Check periodically. Turn half way through cooking.
4-6 minutes per side - rare
5-7 med. rare
6-8 med.
7-9 med. well
8-11 well

Take plates out of oven and top cooked steaks with 1 tbsp butter. Sprinkle pinch parsley on top of the meat and another pinch around it on the butter.
