2 lbs spare ribs
1/2 cup Catsup
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 minced clove garlic
3 whole cloves
4 narrow strips orange rind
juice of 1/2 orange
1 Tblsp vinegar
1 Tblsp salad oil
1/2 tsp prepared mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 Tblsp bottled thick meat sauce
1/2 tsp Worcestershire
1/4 tsp tobasco
1 Tblsp butter or margerine

Directions:
Start heating oven to 325º. Place spareribs in a shallow open pan, cover with foil. Roast 1/2 hour. Pour off fat. Roast 1/2 hour longer. Meanwhile, make sauce; combine molasses, rest of ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Pour off excess fat from ribs, cover with sauce. Increase oven heat to 400º F. Roast spareribs, uncovered, basting after 45 minutes, or until they are fork tender, very brown and glazed.
