2/3 C. shortening
1 1/2 C. flour
1 1/2 C. brown sugar
1/3 C. cocoa
1 T. water
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, brown sugar, water and vanilla. Add eggs and mix well. Combine dry ingredients; and add to creamed mixture. Drop tsp-sized balls onto cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 7-9 minutes. You can then top them w/ candy cane Hershey's kisses or Andes mints while warm, or frost after cooling.
