2 cans of artichoke hearts (not marinated) - drain
Salt & fresh ground pepper to taste
2-3 T. Seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
1 T. good quality olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Heat broiler. Place rack about 5" away from heat.

Place artichoke hearts, cut side up, on broiler pan. Combine the last four ingredients**. Put a small amount of mixture on each.

Place under broiler on high (5" away from heat) for @ 7 minutes. Check it after 5 minutes.

Sprinkle a tiny bit of lemon juice on each.

** I add other herbs/spices to the breadcrumbs. I've also thought of adding salsa on the artichokes after being broiled. Play with recipe. Everyone I've served it to loves it....
