1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2¼ cup unsifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
12 oz chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat and add eggs. Mix together dry ingredients and add gradually. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop batter by well-rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to minutes. Yields 7 to 8 dozen cookies.
