2 bars Bakers German sweet chocolate
1 tablespoon butter
2 eggs
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup unsifted flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vanilla
¾ cups finely chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a baking sheet. Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Stir. Cool. Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat until thickened, approximately 5 minutes with an electric beater. Blend chocolate. Add flour and dry ingredients. Add vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheet. Bake until cookies feel set when lightly touched, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and cool.
