1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1/3. c. sugar
1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 TBS. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
additional sugar
1 3/4 c. (10 oz.) pkg. Hershey's mini-kisses milk
chocolate baking pieces

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Beat shortening and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended. Add 1/3 c. sugar and brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to peanut butter mixture, beating until well blended.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Place 3 mini kisses on each cookie, pressing down lightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wore rack. Cool completely.
